UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, one of the state Islamic universities in Indonesia, is located on Jalan Marsda Adisucipto, Yogyakarta. Established on September 26, 1951, UIN Sunan Kalijaga has made history as the oldest Islamic higher education institution in the country. With the title of an Accredited Excellent Higher Education Institution, UIN Sunan Kalijaga offers 69 study programs covering various aspects of botany. Students here have the opportunity to understand the structure, function, evolution, classification, and distribution of plants. They also study plant interactions with the surrounding environment.
