Bioentrepreneurship is a field that integrates biological knowledge with business aspects. Its primary focus lies in managing and developing companies within the life sciences. The program aims to foster innovation within existing companies or other organizations. Specifically, bio entrepreneurship involves entrepreneurial activities where individuals identify business ideas related to biotechnology and strive to commercialize them by establishing new companies. In other words, it is the creation of biotechnology enterprises. As a result of this emphasis, student study groups like ‘Bioenter’ (Biologi dan Entrepreneur) have formed to explore bioentrepreneurship further. These groups have produced various products, such as cassava chips, tempeh nuggets, and decorative cacti, which they showcase during specific events. Additionally, entrepreneurship seminars are frequently organized to inspire students and help them recognize opportunities for the future.
