| Description | This course is a feature of sunan kalijaga state islamic university in yogyakarta, designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge about various aspects of the qur`an. The curriculum covers topics including the history of the qur`an, its sciences, and its interpretation. The material includes the definition of the qur`an, historical context prior to its revelation, the history of the qur`an`s revelation and codification, its function and position, the scope of qur`anic sciences, the main themes of the qur`an, the miraculous nature of the qur`an, methodologies for its interpretation, and thematic and hermeneutic approaches to qur`anic interpretation. Additionally, the course introduces students to key books of qur`anic commentary and provides an overview of qur`anic commentaries in indonesia. |
