The Guest Lecture aims to support academic activities within the Biology Program and enhance students’ understanding of the role of biotechnology across various fields. Through this event, the academic community in the Biology Program is expected to gain adequate knowledge about the commercial aspects of biotechnology, contributing to its ongoing development. Additionally, this knowledge equips students to explain their roles as intellectuals in the field of Biology.

The current Guest Lecture focuses on “Industrial and Commercial Biotechnology.” The speakers for this event are Tara Puri Ducha Rahmani, M.Sc., from UIN Walisongo, and Lee James Watson, M.Sc., from Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies (UK). During their presentations, the speakers delve into the advancements in biotechnology and its connections to other branches of biological science, as well as its applications in the industrial sector.
